How the figures are worked out
Portfolio value
What every connected account holds, priced and added up. It includes money moved in and out, so a rising value can mean a deposit as easily as a good trade.
Realised P&L
P&L applies to closed trades only, calculated using FIFO (first in, first out) per account. Unmatched sales without a visible purchase history are excluded from profit calculations and flagged on the profile.
Freshness
Accounts sync every few minutes, displaying exact timestamps for all data. If an account disconnects, it retains and clearly marks its last known value.
Prices
Brokers value their own positions, while all other assets use live USD market rates. Unpriced assets are clearly flagged, never displayed as zero.
How a call opens
1.Sealed
Each call is time-locked instantly upon creation. Its exact contents are cryptographically fingerprinted, letting anyone verify later that nothing was altered.
2.The timer runs
The trader and their paying members can read it. Everyone else sees that a call exists and when it opens.
3.It opens
When the timer runs out, the call appears to everyone, word for word as it was sealed.
Frequently asked
Can Stock Locker trade or move money in my account?+
No. Exchange and broker keys must be read-only, and a wallet signature authorises nothing. We can read balances and past trades, and that is all.
Can a trader edit a call after sealing it?+
No. Nothing about a sealed call can be changed by anyone, us included. A trader can add a note underneath it, timestamped when it was written, but the call itself stays as it was.
Can a trader delete a call that went badly?+
No. A call stays on the profile for good, whoever posted it.
Can a trader change a timer?+
They can open a call early. They can never give it more time.
Who can read a call while it’s sealed?+
The trader, anyone paying for their membership, and Stock Locker’s reviewers, who can read sealed calls to moderate them. Nobody else.
What does Stock Locker cost?+
Nothing to join, and nothing to connect your accounts or post calls. The only payment is subscribing to a trader, at the price they set, to read their calls the moment they’re sealed.
How do I get on the leaderboard?+
Opt in from Settings. You’re listed while your verified portfolio is worth $50,000 or more, and you can opt out at any time. Every account starts off the leaderboard; your profile stays public to anyone you send it to either way.
How much of a membership does the trader keep?+
50% of every membership. 80% when the member created their Stock Locker account through the trader’s own referral link — on every payment that member makes to them, renewals included. How a member reached the trader’s page otherwise, including the leaderboard, makes no difference. When a member an affiliate invited subscribes to you, you still keep 50%, and the affiliate (someone with 50,000+ verified followers on YouTube, X or Twitch, with TikTok coming soon) earns 20% out of Stock Locker’s share, for the first year after that member’s account was created. The 80% rate has no time limit.
How is Binance read?+
Binance’s global exchange doesn’t accept requests from where our main servers run, so a separate server we run in the United Kingdom reads it, with the same kind of read-only key as any other exchange. Your key is checked within a few seconds of connecting, and keys that can trade, withdraw or move funds are refused. Binance isn’t available to US residents.
Does paying change what I see?+
No. Membership buys timing, not content. Members read the same call everyone reads later, only sooner.
Why can’t I see some exchanges’ history?+
Each venue only gives so much. Bybit answers for about two years and KuCoin for about one; Interactive Brokers reaches back as far as the report is set to. OKX hands over the last three months. Binance has no single trade-history call, so its past trades are imported for the coins you hold now.
